The Crawford AuSable Federation of Teachers ratified a two year agreement on September 8, 2008. The final ratification vote was 53 yes, 33 no. The tentative agreement passed in each of the four buildings.
The agreement calls for a 1% pay increase for each of the next two years with no insurance increase for this school year. Any insurance increases in the second year will the shared between the administration and the CAFT members. Other changes including adding a BA + 30 step to the pay scale, changing the pay periods from every other Friday to the 15th and last of the month, and claifying child care leave and extended child care leave. The school year calendar is basically the same.
